Visiting Mudgee was a highlight, especially enjoying wine tasting and local markets. We loved setting up a game of family cricket in the spacious grounds, soaking in the beautiful Australian countryside. My children wanted more outdoor games to play together.

Great service, I greatly enjoyed outstanding food.
It was reasonably priced, compared to other royal hotels. The room was very well-appointed with a reasonably large bathroom. Everyone was easygoing and excellent.

We had the double room which was large with a good big comfortable bed. Remote location really close to Hill End for a day trip in future, wildlife in a magnificent setting, and the pub for dinner, it was in a large grassy area. The staff was amazingly great all that time.

Booked the room with my 2 dogs for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. The personnel was easy going and excellent, and the owner too. I were in an exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect location near Hill End sights, ‘ The Shed' restaurant and the centre of town. Furthermore, close to the township. Liked my place and would definitely return here.
